Balance Training/Fall Prevention– overall goal of preventing falls and improving balance.  This helps increase independence and improve performance.  Exercises are given to build strength of the legs and core and improve coordination/balance.  Goals are established depending on each patient’s individual needs.

Corporate Agility Testing – perform physical agility testing for companies for pre-employment or post injury.  Testing may assess lifting, carrying, squatting, kneeling, etc., depending on the requirements of the specific job.

Dance Rehabilitation– due to the stress on a dancer’s body and explosive nature of dance, numerous injuries may occur.  Dance rehab incorporates specific stretching and strengthening which are dancer specific.  Skilled therapists with a thorough knowledge of dance will rehabilitate you to your pain-free state as quickly as possible.

Manual Stretching/Modalities: Manual stretching is used to help reduce muscle tension and restore mobility to stiff joints.  It is also shown to reduce injuries, improve posture and promote healing.  Modalities, such as therapeutic ultrasound, electric stimulation, moist heat, and ice can also be used to speed up the healing process and diminish pain.

Injury rehabilitation (Orthopedic and neurological rehab) – treating injuries and conditions of the muscles, joints, cartilage, tendons, and nerves.  A licensed physical therapist with evaluate your condition and review your medical history.  An individualized treatment strategy will be developed and modified to your comfort level.  A home exercise program will be given to help speed your recovery.  

Pre and Post Operative Care– studies have shown that physical therapy performed prior to an orthopedic surgery or joint replacement can diminish the need for post-operative care by nearly 30%.  Post-operative treatment will help you regain your function, decrease pain and return you to your pre-injury lifestyle.

Spine Care– treating injuries and dysfunctions of the spine.  A licensed physical therapist with evaluate your condition and review your medical history.  An individualized treatment strategy will be developed and modified to your comfort level.  Most patients will be given a home exercise program to excel their healing process.

Sports Performance/Injury Prevention– depending on the sport and the individualized requirements of the sport, an individualized program is established to allow you to regain strength, range of motion, and enhance performance.  A thorough evaluation will help get to the root of the problem.  We want to treat the underlying issue, not just the symptoms.

Telehealth Physical Therapy– performing physical therapy online from the safety of your home with a licensed physical therapist.  We use HIPAA compliant internet platforms to ensure your safety.  A computer/laptop or cell phone with camera/webcam is required.

Vestibular/Dizziness– a thorough assessment of your condition will be performed by a licensed physical therapist.  Based on our findings, a recommendation of vestibular and balance exercises may be given for certain conditions to diminish or abolish your symptoms.  Often vestibular conditions require a hands-on approach (ie: Epley maneuver), which frequently cures your dizziness in 1 visit.
